Mechanical counter double-rotator flowmeter can be divided into two types:
pointer counter type and large character return to zero counter type. The
pointer type is suitable for all calibers, while the large character code
counter is suitable for calibers larger than DN25. Compared with electronic
counters, mechanical counters have the characteristics of high reliability, no
need for power supply, no impact on measurement when power is cut off, direct
reading on site display, and can be equipped with photoelectric pulse converter
to output electrical pulse signals for display instruments and computer
processing, thus achieving remote transmission and centralized control.
Double-Rotator Flowmeter is composed of an inner casing, a pair of spiral
rotors, and upper and lower cover plates,Several known volume cavities are
formed between the helices as the measurement units of the flowmeter. The rotor
of the flowmeter is driven to rotate by a small pressure difference between
inlet and outlet, and continuously imported liquid through the cavity at the same
time it can be metering, then sending it to the outlet。The rotor transfers the
number of rotations through a sealed linkage extraction and transmission system
to the counting device, directly indicating the total amount of liquid flowing
through the flow meter.
